People are stocking up on groceries before the storm....

Store shelves being emptied, and parking lots full. The local meteorologists have uttered the “B-Word”...Blizzard and that’s all it takes.

It's the start of the rainy season here in southern California. Since smoking isn't allowed inside my house (it's a roominghouse), I have to go outside if I want to smoke weed. Been hoping the rain will clear up for a while if only so I can go outside onto my lovely patio for a smoke. The rain usually starts at night. It's just started to stop now and I'm happy to see the sun coming out. Since we have a grapefruit tree and an orange tree in our backyard (the kind that bear fruit year round), we know we'll never run out of citrus or citrus juice here. Everyone's buying stuff from the supermarkets like crazy due to the pandemic; the hoarding instinct kicks in during emergencies. I keep my linen closet filled with basiçs like soap and toilet paper.

@greenmountaingal I got my extra cleaning and paper items out in the garage, thank goodness I have that, it’s cold like a refrigerator right now & I can store citrus and some other things like drinks and eggs out there when I stock up.
