People are stocking up on groceries before the storm....

@Atlotto Not just bread, milk & eggs. Someone told me a lot of things were getting cleared out...onions, potatoes, grapes & other fruit. Also they’ll wipe out most of the canned soup, frozen pizzas, lunch meat, cheese, bacon, soft drinks, chips & many of the snack items when they are stocking up. Winco parking lot was full up & the person drove to a local Walmart & looked like they had sold a lot of stuff that day before he got there in the evening.

@cherokeepatti I'm glad I know how to home can and have the equipment to do it.

@NoGamesTolerated I have a growing boy here and he can eat a lot, need to have milk for him to drink and me to cook with & eggs too. I can make bread, I stocked up on all kinds of baking supplies.

@Atlotto I know how to can but don’t have a garden space here or I would turn the whole back yard into a big beautiful garden. I used to can up to 200 jars of stuff a year when I lived in the country besides what we ate and what I froze up. Had to give stuff away too because I’d get carried away and plant too many tomatoes, squash & cucumbers. Cucumbers grow really good on a chain link fence & if you plant pickling cucumber they produce heavily

@cherokeepatti Totally understood.. I have stocked up myself due to the crazy events of this crazy world we live in... But in years past, snow storms have caught me off guard...
