Why people associated word "drink" with alcoholic drink?
Today i was talking to someone about "refreshing drink" and he automaticly associated it with bourbon lol i was thinking about cold orange juice or milk or lemon tea

Even though I drink alcohol, and in some contexts "drinks" would mean booze, if someone referred to a "refreshing drink" I would assume it was something like fresh squeezed lemonade.
People do the same thing with the word "party". A party does not have to be a mere excuse for getting drunk. It might actually be about socializing.
