I would test it first to see if it was real honey. I bought 4 bottles of honey at Walgreens one time on sale. Got home & opened one & tasted it. Nothing like honey. Then I did a little test. Put some cold water in a clear glass and dropped a spoonful of it in the glass & put it on the windowsill. Watched it dissolve right before my eyes in less than a minute. Real honey has to be stirred and stirred to dissolve in a cup of hot tea. It also will crystallize if it get cold or refrigerated, I didn’t have time to do that little test so I took all 4 bottles back & got a refund. They were still selling it and advertising it as honey a couple months later. Kind of soured me on Walgreens.

yeah and honey doesn't really go bad as long as cool and dry...excellent for sore throats too
