If the only Golden Corral in town closes down will the town ever be the same?

They closed during the quarantine & reopened but people are seated & tell a waitress what they want & then have to wait till they bring it. Now the restaurant is closing due to few customers. The end of the buffet era is upon us.

They tried to open a Golden Corral in my old hometown (well outside their usual market area) a number of years ago, but they didn't really put a lot of thought into it and it never caught on. It closed down after about two years sadly, and the town didn't really change at all.
