If the only Golden Corral in town closes down will the town ever be the same?

They closed during the quarantine & reopened but people are seated & tell a waitress what they want & then have to wait till they bring it. Now the restaurant is closing due to few customers. The end of the buffet era is upon us.

I'm kind of getting "of that age" and I know a lot of younger people will rip on you for liking GC - but for seniors or people w/big families on a limited income - places like that are a godsend. Yeah some folks stuff their pockets w/rolls or steal the butter or whatever...but its cheap eats and if everyone hated them they wouldn't exist. Like Payless shoes...yeah cheap shoes but it employed a lot of people and served a purpose. We can't all afford Nordstroms or fine dining....

@luctoretemergo I heard that people would sit and wait for the food to arrive & then when they want something else they’d have to order it and wait again. they probably waited longer than what it took them to eat the food. But anyway their customer base is pretty well gone.
