Do you like asparagus?

I bought 2 bundles of it this morning and the cashier told me she grew up in Michigan and it would grow wild there, next to woods, along country roads etc. They would go gathering free asparagus every year.

@Nimbus Dont try canned, the texture is mushy and it’s overcooked, fresh is much better

@Nimbus I tried the canned type when I was a teen and wouldn’t eat any of it till I was nearly 50 years old
