Is anyone on Keto?

Are you living the Keto lifestyle? How much have you lost in what period of time? Any interesting low carb recipes to share?

I did it for a year (it was an attempt to stop the joint pain) and lost about 15 pounds. Then my gallbladder burst probably from all the eating of the fats. So I had to turn around and eat only very low fat. Life is funny sometimes. There are tons of recipes online but I never really found one I wanted to try again. I tended toward the simple things like roast chicken / veggies with olive oils and nice spices. One thing that kept me going was mug bread... I’m a bread lover and that helped. It’s not the greatest but it’s decent.

@Fallflower YES THE MUG BREAD IS GOOD --I RECENTLY MADE IT WITH SOUR CREAM AND MOZZARELLI--REALLY GOOD--I USUALLY HAVE VEGETABLES AND PROTEIN--NOT A BIG RECIPE PERSON EITHER.. I LOVE EGGS SO THEY ARE OFTEN MY GO TO-ALWAYS HAVE A BOWL OF HARD BOILED EGGS IN FRIG--I USHUALLY JUST START COOKING ONE THING IN THE PAN AND PRETTY SOON MY MIND GETS GOING AND IT ENDS UP INTERESTING AND TASTY--HOW ARE YOU DOING ON LOWFAT? I WAS ALWAYS TOLD FAT IS NOT THE CULPRIT BUT SUGAR AND CARBS-I THINK ANY HEALTHY EATING IS BENEFICIAL AND YOU CAN LOSE-I HOPE YOUR JOINT PAIN IS LESSONING-I HAVE FIBROMYAGIA AND IVE HARDLY HAD A FLARE IN OVER A YEAR. GOOD LUCK TO YOU

@CheriVanilla Yep, Keto helped with the joint pain but my digestive system was not into it. Low fat is Ok, I just eat normal small portions of anything now. Sugar is definitely the culprit for pain and inflammation for me.
