Can gelatin "conserve" fruits?

Ingwe · F
ID think so ...not sure

@Ingwe I've once put a pot of cooked noodles topped by champignons in the fridge for two weeks. Silly me was new to cooking as it was my first year out of my parents house. But when I tried it after these two weeks, I seriously didn't know about the proper taste of champignons until I stirred it and smelled the mouldy noodles.

The cherries now topped by gelatin somehow smell sour.
