What are some of your preferred soups on a dreary & cold winter's day? I make peas soup, w/ ham and thinly sliced carrots, or if I've bought a chicken, might use it to be the base for Matzoh ball soup.
my favorites are mushroom and barley with lots of dill, a zuchinni and corn milk soup flavored with jalapenos, and veggie soup in a tomato broth and of course chicken noodle ( i use vegetarian "chicken")
