I think it is probably something fictitious for the Harry Potter stores: witches are associated with Halloween, which is associated with pumpkins.
I don't remember pumpkin juice in the books. Is it just in the movies? (I have only seen the first two.) Or am I just forgetful....which is quite possible! :)
Edit: well, based on other people's replies, I guess I was wrong about it being fictitious!

@DrWatson Yep it's definitely in the books because I'm a book reader myself

@coffeedimplez I read the books as they were in the process of being written -- so it was a while ago! I began by reading the first couple for my daughter. Then she read the rest on her own -- and I grabbed them when she was done!
