That variety was actually 'bred' in Fort Mill, SC, not far from where I once lived. Peppers grow hot in the south anyway. The last time I looked he was working on Pepper X and Pepper Y which are supposedly hotter.
@KiwiBird lmbo. I use rubber gloves when I handle any peppers. I burnt my face once with pepper oil. It was awful. Good thing I didn't touch the petals. ;)
