What garnish would be best?

A: I've recently learned of a new cocktail and I love it. I want to add it to my bar's drink menu to see how it sells. Unfortunately, the one who told me of it didn't add a garnish.

What do you think would be a decent garnish to the following mixed drink?

1-1.5oz chocolate vodka
Almost fill w/ cola
2-3 squirts MIO drink flavoring (some kind of berry for best effect)
Served in an old fashioned glass.

Tastes exactly like it's name; Tootsie Pop.

I thought about using the actual candy as the garnish, but not sure if that would look right. A plastic stick? People might mistake it for a straw.

So what are your thoughts?
I think a candy heart shaped stirrer might just do the trick.

A fresh strawberry would be nice.

If you鈥檙e using a martini glass you probably don鈥檛 need anything...

...Or straw

A piece of the fruit that you are adding-- so, raspberry for raspberry MIO,etc.

@PolyamorousPlaymates Well, my initial instinct was a simple sprig of mint, but depending upon the fruit flavor involved, this could turn out like OJ after toothpaste. 馃ぎ

Not that most folks eat the garnish...
@GwydionFrost True, but the garnish is mainly visual. Gives the patron an idea of the flavor, theme, or feeling the drink will later inspire.

@PolyamorousPlaymates [c=#359E00]i was thinking to play with contrast[/c]
@YukikoAmagi It's a good concept. Doesn't play out right with drinks in my experience.

I think a tootsie roll would be best
@Sarabee Yeah, but like I said, you'll only see the stick and people might mistake it for a straw. Put it in the other way and it's too top heavy.

@PolyamorousPlaymates make tootsie straws
