Hot dogs originated in Germany didn’t they?
NoSugar · 22-25, F
@cherokeepatti not really.. in germany you have only the sausage and a breadroll... no fancy topics just some mustard.
but the sausage and the breadroll are much higher quality then the buns and dogs they sell in the usa

@NoSugar Almost all the hotdogs in the USA are horrible. I like to buy uncured hot dogs, no preservatives or MSG or dyes...they used to sell bison hot dogs frozen at the health food store but not now, they were $11 a pack for 8 the last time I saw them a couple years ago. I have also seen beef hot dogs made the same way & would like to try them.

@cherokeepatti america is great at their burger game and you have decent steaks... but anything sausage in the usa is really low standards

@NoSugar I don’t eat pork so no expert on it. Germany set the high standards for so many products including food, that’s about all I know of it.

@cherokeepatti well as far as food goes i think italy is the undisputed champion there

@NoSugar I prefer Indian dishes and Persian dishes myself.

@cherokeepatti not a big fan of indian cuisine, then again i only been to an indian retaurant very few times and it was questionable quality. and never really tried persian.

@NoSugar Persian has complex flavors, in many of the main dishes they incorporate some type of fruit with meat and veggies...pomegranate chicken, a thick stew of chicken & veggies & sour green apple, barberry chicken, meat with sour plum, etc.

@cherokeepatti sounds good to me

@NoSugar mouth-watering good. I bought a Persian cookbook and have made a few recipes myself.
