So, Coke, Dr. Pepper and Pepsi are working to find ways to lower the (high) amounts of sugar-- do you believe that?

The commercial says: we all need to listen to mom. Then it "brags" that they have already come up with the idea of smaller servings....is that brilliant idea? Or do they need to go back to the drawing board? Smaller servings--less sugar! (Ta-da!) 馃槵

It鈥檚 funny (and as a diabetic I watch this with interest), they went from high fructose corn syrup to cane sugar, and with the diet sodas, from aspartame to stevia, I believe. The point of drinking soda (rather than water) is its sweetness. So they鈥檙e trying to balance sweet and healthy, I guess. 馃

@bijouxbroussard Yes. I'm fighting diabetes... but not very hard: I have gone without corn bread for a long long time.... today, I made some....oh!! But i'll stop at one piece, I'm sure.... 馃槈

Also, I'm allergic to aspartame and diet drinks taste terrible! Truly!
@PeachesGR I put a bit of Stevia in my coffee or tea. But I had to cut back and rework so many things, even switching to lower carb flours on the rare occasions I bake.
