Would you eat meat that had been grown in a lab?

Saw a report on the development of meat, specifically beef, being grown in a lab for human consumption. The scientists take a few cells via sample from the animal. This doesn't harm said animal. Then they use the genetic information to grow the meat product.

They claim it's healthier. Free from antibiotics and other harmful things but I'm not sure. The process and concept is fascinating for sure but my mind struggles to trust it. 🤔

It would be revolutionary. But would it have everything else meat has? Calories, protein, etc...

@xRedx yeah because the end product would be exactly the same as if you'd butchered the animal the dna sample came from. The scientists stated they would be able to modify it so you didn't get the cons of eating, say red meat. That's the part I struggle with: genetically modified meat 🤔

@HausOfLuna Everything is genetically modified both artificially and naturally, the sweet potato has been naturally GMO since 8,000 years ago, foreign DNA.
