Which is the healthier option between the two? Sugar-free or fat-free?

I'm thinking sugar-free because we somewhat know more about the sugar substitutes than we do about the fat substitutes.

Sugar free. We now know and it is clear sugar is the enemy, not fats.
Fats are pretty harmless and are actually important nutrients. Even saturated ones.

@MethDozer Fat free is the healthier option. But you are right, sugar is the enemy and fat is important. Even for metabolism.

@SW-User How do you figure?
SW-User
@MethDozer Which bit?

@SW-User I don't think sugar substitutes are good but I just don't see fats being more dangerous. Fats seem pretty benign on there own with all the data out.
SW-User
@MethDozer Lol read what I said? I said fats are important.

@SW-User Oh I know. I meant on fat free being the healthier option when everyone gets way too much sugar.

I am a little biased I suppose. Happens when diabetes and sugar related heart problems hits your family.
SW-User
@MethDozer Fat free is definitely not the healthier option. Firstly, fat is important for metabolism. So many people don't know this.

@SW-User I am so confused.
