Girl meets Cow

thats what happens to people who don't know how to feed them.

@cherokeepatti Yeah we had a mixture or Guernsey and Jersey and Holstein milk cows. We sold the cream to the local creamery where it was turned into award winning butter. Once AI became a thing we got rid of all our dairy bulls. Too bloody dangerous. The beef bulls were placid old beasts but the dairy bulls - you didn't turn your back on them.

@hippyjoe1955 the Jersey cows are so sweet though, the bulls got all the meanness.

@cherokeepatti Yeah we had an old Jersey bull would back himself into a corner of the corral and refuse to move. The only way we would get him out was to set the dog on him The dog would run back and forth in front of him barking. Eventually the bull would charge the dog but the dog was too quick and got behind the bull and would nip at his heels. The old bull was beat then and would go out to pasture like we wanted him to.
