Has anyone done the whole 30 diet?

I'm thinking about giving it a shot, but it looks like it'd be difficult...

I remember doing an elimination diet, i didn't do it for 30 days but two weeks & a half? The hard part was no dairy and grains. I ruined it when i ordered a salad that was covered in cheese & i didn't want to pick it all out & really missed cheese so i ate it & observed how my body reacted after not having cheese in awhile. Cheese is the culprit!
@SailorMarz cheese and my energy drinks will be the hardest to give up

@SooperSarah you have better self control than i do. Try it & report back!
@SailorMarz it looks like it might be too much of a change all at once, and expensive.

@SooperSarah not being prepared was a huge reason i couldn't keep it up.
@SailorMarz I'm thinking we might ease into it. We can spend some time getting used to what is allowed while we get through the stuffs we have that's now allowed. Then start the 30 days on like march first.

@SooperSarah "we" you got missie on board lol. I always gotta do this stuff alone. With people discouraging me & getting butthurt when i don't eat their food because i'm on a specific diet 🙄
@SailorMarz I can't do stuffs like that alone. There's no way I could watch her eat cheese and stuffs lol

@SooperSarah i have to because no one else here gives a crap about their health
@SailorMarz that must be so frustrating

@SooperSarah it is lol but if they wanna get diabetes and their gull bladder removed in the near future. Be my guest, bitches
@SailorMarz My regular diet isn't bad, but I can definitely feel the difference when I make an effort to eat better. Maybe if they gave it a try and got that feeling it'd be different. I have a feeling they just don't want to put the effort into it

@SooperSarah why'd you ever stop again? And i feel like since they're older & have been eating this way for pretty much all their lives. They don't feel as motivated because they're already old & just want to enjoy themselves. And they've also just accepted this unhealthy version of themselves. They're complacent.
@SailorMarz I have lots of excuses. The most common has been the effort. Sometimes it's just easier to eat something I shouldn't. I also have it in my head that once you stray from the plan, everything is ruined and there's no reason to go back.
This whole 30 diet actually says exactly that. One tiny slip and the entire thing is ruined.

@SooperSarah that's exactly how i am. I stray just a little and then self control goes out the window & i have to start all over.
@SailorMarz I'm hoping eating into this one before actually starting the 30 days will help

@SooperSarah well now that you're planning on going on this diet, it makes me wanna go back on mine. I'm still making healthier choices, but i'm indulging myself still. And a little too much these past few days

I bought myself chocolate strawberries today. It came with 10 lol
@SailorMarz I've been eating chocolate covered macadamia nuts lol

@SooperSarah i thought you weren't feeling like sweets 😛
@SailorMarz I'm not, which is why I'm still working on them

@SooperSarah my chocolate covered strawberries were better
@SailorMarz mayhaps
