What does Hummus taste like

I know some have tried this but what does it taste like ? I heard everything from good to like cardboard.

Hard to say as people have different taste buds and therefore it can taste like anything. But it taste like chickpeas since that is what it is made of. lol
Once had someone say that asparagus taste like fries. What a lie!
