Would you still eat gummy sweets (candy) if you knew what they were really made of ?

They contain Gelatin which is a mixture of peptides and proteins produced by partial hydrolysis of collagen extracted from the skin, bones, and connective tissues of animals such as domesticated cattle, chicken, pigs and fish.

If you are a vegetarian and eat Gummy sweets (candy) then you had better think again.

Being a vegan must be pretty difficult all things considered.

Geez that was an office favorite
What about twizzlers

EVERYBODY KNOWS BEARS AND WORMS ARE VEGETARIAN

Dude, i eat flesh. You think i care where a gummy bear came from?
Jay04Sch · 46-50, F
That's so disgusting. I love candy but chocolates.
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
I love Gummy bear type sweets but now that I know where gelatin comes from they will never be the same again. It's weird to be eating a nice sweet while thinking that I am sucking on something that comes from the skin and bone of animals.
Jay04Sch · 46-50, F
@Wraithorn: for sure. I'm not a vegetarian but I don't like weird stuff. It's like polony.
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@Jay04Sch: I agree, that stuff is like fake meat. Similar in a way to McDonalds burgers. 100% beef does not necessarily mean 100% meat.
I don't care for them anyway, and I'm not a vegetarian. I have practical reasons; they're a nuisance when they get in one's teeth.
