Since we have plenty to spare here in Florida and has worked for us, get four cockroaches and put one in each corner, assuming square bread. Hide them in a generous layer of something like tuna salad in case they check first.
@MikeSp haha once I got a plastic cockroach from a joke store and put it in the bottom of an empty coffee cup and a woman found it and looked down and about jumped to the ceiling. Very realistic.
