I don't know. Same reason I can't parallel park with any comfidence, I guess.
I've always wanted to put the macaronis into four separate piles, one by one, and see if there ARE really 4 equal servings. But by the time I'm hungry enough for boxed mac & cheese, counting is out of the question.@SW-User
