Is presentation important to you when it comes to food ?
For example, do you take presentation into consideration when cooking for someone or if someone were to cook for you?

This made me think of preparing the family dinner for my siblings and Mom & relevant spouses, etc. My two older brothers, while arguably sophisticated in some ways, and certainly educated, were both single and lived like gnus with furniture. When I made the mashed potatoes I used a mixer and when I took it out of the bowl, the beaters accidentally made a wave-like pattern on top ending with the flourish of a Dairy Queen curl on top. My brothers were awestruck by my artistry.
