I enjoy it, but I Plan it well in advance. Some of my sides are already made (in the deep freezer), and will be picking up the turkeys this weekend (fresh, not frozen). I’ll brine them all day Wednesday.

We are expecting 10-12, so it’ll be a madhouse. 😁

@MrsKatherineArch I am a planner myself. Just finished doing the basic housekeeping duties and getting the guest bathroom prepped for visitors (normally used by my teen son) so you can imagine my stress brewing with that. However reading the responses have enlightened me and inspired me to forge on. :) I start my sides on Saturday. I am off from work and have an assistant coming over to help with prep.

@BrandeePrecious Nothing brings out the OCD like having guests over for Holidays. 🤣

I love Thanksgiving in my home. I am pretty tired when Thursday comes. It is a family tradition tha6 the men do the dishes after dinner.

@Thereyouare yes an assistant does come in handy. I am thankful that I have help during the preparation, it makes it so much easier.
