Do you eat dry uncooked macaroni while youre cooking?

Unless youre not making macaroni then I guess youre not going to get it out to just eat it uncooked.

Not macaroni, but I've been known to break off a chunk of the brick of ramen noodles and eat that while waiting for water to boil.
