@Darina I like all kinds of food, steak, Italian, Greek, Chinese, Spanish but I also like Spam and butterbeans, Macaroni and cheese with smoky sausages, beets and cottage cheese. I like to mix wines, white with red.
@Darina I get bored with the same wines all the time, so sometimes I experiment and mix chardonnay or riesling with merlot or Malbec or white zinfandel. That's an at home thing, of course.
@Darina The variety is endless, depending on how much of what you mix. I experiment. The chardonnays and Rieslings are white. The merlot and malbec is dark red. The white zinfandel is a sweet pink (which is my favorite)
@Darina Absolutely. The differences are most noticeable to me in white zinfandel. I tend to prefer Australian reds. But every wine from every region is different.
@Darina Actually, I think a new wine store has opened nearby. I'll have to stop in and see what they have. Its always worth the effort to find something new and special that you might love.
