I don’t think farmed salmon and high levels of mercury is the concern. It’s other chemicals they feed the fish. Actually wild caught fish such as marlin and tuna are more likely to have large traces of mercury and possibly lead. We the ppl of earth have a great thing going for us, but damn we sure did screw up what was so great about earths natural resources

Farmed salmon from Asia is gonna be nasty. They feed the salmon manure from hog farms and the hogs have been fed chicken manure from chicken farms...lots of heavy metals in farm-raised fish.

@StrangeLife94 Yes they do. You can tell farm-raised from wild by looking at it. They dye it and there are stripe marks on the flesh.

I'm not sure. I love salmon and I always order it when I go out to eat or buy sushi. It's never made me sick.
