What's the healthiest diet?

Trying to eat healthy. What kind of diet is the healthiest? I know Mediterranean diet is good and keto is good. I thought about going Vegan but I don't know how well that would work out.

In my opinion only and I'm certainly not a doctor but no one should go vegan because it's not optimal but if it works for you then great. No shame in experimenting that way at least you know. The problem with veganism for me is that plants have anti nutrients they produce as a defense mechanism when picked. It blocks your body's ability to absorb essential nutrients (not all the way mind you, just some.)

It's been said that you need veggies, grains and starches because they still have good effects in the body including anti nutrients being good for you in smaller quantities but I question when someone eats a large quantity like a vegan would have to let's say.. get more iron because their plant diet would not absorb it as effectively as let's say red meat, poultry, fish.

The Mediterranean diet, paleo, primal or AIP (autoimmune paleo specifically to help people with autoimmune disorders and IBS symptoms as certain foods inflame your body) any of those is good. Those above diets are kind of all variations of each other though with a slight difference in each, so I sometimes just use recipes as more of a guide and choose the easiest things I can find.

I prefer primal though just because 😊
