is this sign of an infected avocado. CW: just a gross image.
So i got this avocado which was dark green in colour and it was hard. It might have not been ripe. But i cut it anyways. This was the seed that was inside of it and the avocado tasted like nothing at all. Is this normal? This was my first time getting an avocado since they're not really grown where i live.

if if was hard it definitely wasn't ripe, and so the seed wouldn't have been mature either. But chances are that you'll live, so just make sure your next one is ripe before you cut it.
