How much do you adhere to expiration dates?

I just cleaned out my pantry today. I have a few things that expired in 2017. Would you keep it or dump it (canned soup, veggies, ramen, bbq sauce)?

Not a lot. I pay attention to it but I also smell/check my food if it’s still good or not
