How much do you adhere to expiration dates?

I just cleaned out my pantry today. I have a few things that expired in 2017. Would you keep it or dump it (canned soup, veggies, ramen, bbq sauce)?

I am very careful about expiration dates, whether it's meds, food or cosmetics.

@Vivaci Yeah, I only found out a few years ago about cosmetics! I'm really good about meds and refrigerated foods, but canned goods??? Idk, they look fine from the outside!

@livingaloha Yeah, same here. I've never had any issues with canned foods.... But then again, I don't use cans much. Lol
