My Mom made the best potato pancakes. I would eat a ton of them. No other food was needed.

Mom made a pretty mean pot roast. 🙂

My grandma used to make roti, unleavened bread stuffed with potatoes and peas and spices. It was so good nice and warm out of the oven.

This is incredibly sad, but tv dinners were a "treat" and something we rarely got to eat. Does anyone remember the Libbyland TV Dinners for children ?

I don't remember libby land dinners but T.V. dinners were a treat for us too..
when money was particularly scarce we'd have Campbell's tomato soup and half a sleave of saltine crackers for dinner..
