Who invented cocain ?
especially the snorting thing about it... i mean inhaling a drug, even injecting it into your blood i can somewhat understand... but who thought it would be a good idea to snort some kind of powder through your nose ?

The locals chewed the leaves for thousands of years. In the 19th century, European chemists studied it for its analgesic properties.
I imagine one of those chemists purified the solution and dried it. Knowing that nasal mucosa does absorb many molecules, the chemist figured snorting was easier than injecting it.
But that is just a guess.
