Who invented cocain ?

especially the snorting thing about it... i mean inhaling a drug, even injecting it into your blood i can somewhat understand... but who thought it would be a good idea to snort some kind of powder through your nose ?

Someone who understood very well the large area of exposed tissue in nose and sinuses but did not recognize the fragile nature of the nose.
