Do you like barbecued oysters?

First time ever making oysters at all and I think they turned out wonderfully. Shucking was a huge pain for the first few but after the fourth or so I had it down and the rest only took 15-20 seconds or so each. Some of those in my household aren't huge fans of the idea of raw oysters, so I did smoked oysters instead. Still turned nice and tender and juicy. Sacrilege to some, I know.

Pacific oysters(local), so very mild and smooth flavor. Cooked with a dollop of garlic butter in each along with the natural brine, put over applewood fire for about 8 minutes or so so the oyster and brine got a nice note of sweet smoky flavor though some had the brine spilled during the transfer from barbecue to platter. :/ Although none dried out, so there's that. Everyone loved them, they vanished in no time.

Those look really good (though raw oysters are the best).
