do you think apple cider vinegar would be okay as a sub in a recipe calling for white vinegar?

I only use white vinegar for fish, but I do not have any. I use ACV for its health benefits in water...but for this recipe??

Seeing how it is a buffalo chicken recipe I actually think it would work. It will have a different taste but I don’t think that would be bad actually
