You want some of my smoked meat? 馃槒
Just finished smoking a turkey and disassembling/deboning it and felt like sharing the fruits of my labors. Anyone else up to some cookery on this fine evening?
Yes I know it just looks like a pile of meat, it was so tender it literally fell apart at the touch so it quickly just became a pile of meat rather than distinct pieces. One of the breasts stayed mostly intact though, so there's that. Tried a few bites, turned out pretty damn delicious. The dark meat almost tastes like bacon. XD

And drippings from it for a later test on whether or not smoked gravy is a thing that actually works or not. It turned out much clearer than I expected, for some reason I was expecting the smoke to make it more cloudy. I'm not entirely sure why I thought this. It smells pretty incredible, honestly, so I expect the gravy experiment will be successful. Need smell-o-vision.
