So my friend for years wants to

Open a bakery and make me in charge of decorating cookies and cakes and teach classes. Is she crazy? I’m good, but not that good.
I’ve told her no no no. I said the other day,”Geez give it a rest...I’m not that good.” She acted like she didn’t hear me. I told her she wasn’t listening and she said,”I’ve heard every word, but I choose to ignore.”
I compare myself to others and I’m amateur at best.
Would you do it if you didn’t feel good enough?

People have dreams, she's thought of her plans for a bakery and wants to use you to make her dream come true, not listening to a word you said will show what kind of boss she would be.

I’ve thought of this....lol She would have to learn and grow a lot as a business owner. I don’t think she realises how much a business involves. She’s not the greatest listener, but her not listening to me was her way of saying that she thinks I’m better than what I think I am.
She will have to learn how to listen if she is a boss. Most definitely. @cherokeepatti

@MissMollyCharlotte0702 I knew someone who thought she'd get rich with a business and she had it all planned out, told me I would be the secretary (🤣) when she knew I had a full-time job already, that business didn't last but a few months, she was writing hot checks for things and her husband had to bail her out. What people plan in their minds is not usually reality on how it will turn out.
