Its amazing how a simple meal can take you back to your childhood in a way other things can't.

@Goodlove it was always smoked sausage, corn, and some kind of potatoes when I was a kid. It takes me back to a time when life was easy and stress free. When I didnt know the bad things of the world. Its nice, but kinda sad.

Oh I couldn't agree more.....I sometimes mourn my younger life.. I wish I could go back to just being with my mum and the only worry was having to go to school.@SW-User

@Goodlove I know right? It would be nice to go back, but I think there are things I look forward to in the future too. Like having a wife and kids and all that kind of stuff.

There is always that! My children were/are my lifeline and I couldn't ask for more. But I hope you have better luck with your choice of spouse than I did.@SW-User
