I burned my tongue on hot tea.

I am so angry at myself because I [i]knew[/i] it was too hot and I tried to drink it anyway.

I do this when I dabble with hot things. People look baffled at me when I slide icecubes into my coffee but I'm cooling that mofo down to a drinking-level temperature. And for everything else served hot, I wait... a while... so I don't burn my fucking mouth.

I don't know how people plunge right in.
