Do you enjoy your food more when you spend your quality time preparing it ?

Or do you enjoy it more when someone else cooks it ?
I have mixed emotions over food , I like to know what make it up and the ingredients that went into preparing it , and enjoy the therapeutic process of cooking for myself and others , but on the other hand it’s nice to have someone cook for me.
I think the key for me is the final presentation , if it looks not so good , how ever the nice it’s tastes , I enjoy it less

I love to cook always have and always will.. I cooked all the holiday meals for my family, not saying my wife never cooked, but I did it on a much larger scale.. I was the one that did all the garnishing and prepared the upside down cakes and made all the turkeys and hams... I put my love into the food .... now that I am by myself I still enjoy cooking for friends and company, I cook all the big holidays for when my kids come over with their kids,, So I would have to say I enjoy making my dinners a presentation for my family !!
