Do y'all actually love Salad? or just trying to stay healthy? if so what are the usually ingredients when making your own? or what is your preset ala carte salad?

i'd go for Omega 4 baby... mostly balsamic

I've always loved salads...but even being a salad-eater wasn't enough for my health. I started on a resistant starch diet and it improved my health tremendously since last November...better muscle tone, lost over 50 pounds, improved my sluggish digestion. You wouldn't think the lowly white potato could do so much, but it did. I have an issue with people who say potatoes have too many carbs or are fattening. Cold potato salad is a great source of resistant starches and doesn't have to be loaded with mayo...I put chopped tiny pieces of red tomato for color, hard-boiled eggs, celery, dill pickle and celery seeds in mine.

@cherokeepatti potato salads...comes to my mind is usually lots of mayo...but is mash potato good?

@quinnVneck Yes it is, and you can make breads and shakes with potato starch and eat them cold for the same effect. I have one shake a day, assorted varieties (almond or coconut milk with 1 Tablespoon potato starch, strawberries, cocoa, lemon flavor plus stevia.

I usually only have salads at other peoples places. Don't make them myself. Usually I find them average. Sometimes there is a really good one. :)

@quinnVneck I'm not good with salad names, but I think I've had some of those from the supermarked. Is that with apple in it? I usually don't like apples.
