I Love Food

I got my sugarcane here

Picked up some ground water buffalo, gator patties, and shark steak.
Yet another can of escargot to satisfy my craving.
Bought guava, green papaya, banana blossoms, dragon fruit, and abalone mushrooms.
I did not find a New Zealand section but I lived out my James and the Giant Peach dreams of indulging in Tayto crisps.
And I have the alamang and a couple mangoes.

Can I ask where are you from .The staples you enjoy arnt typical NZ food .I should know I happen to like a lot of the foods you list and I am originally from Africa .

@Rhodesianman I'm in the US. The mention of New Zealand was just because I asked people what products from other countries I should get.

@Jackaloftheazuresand How about dried acacia worms or flying ants or cockroach or goat or mealie meal ,rape or any of the wild meats are all a different taste and make a nice meal .

One day I will have to try goat, it's on my list. I have not had any of those specific insects but the selection available to me at this particular market consists of crickets, meal worms, ants, and scorpion which I have consumed. I don't think there was an African section specifically so I'd have to rely on online stores for that.

@Jackaloftheazuresand If you cook goat ,cook it slow for a long time in its own juices don't add liquid it takes up 2 about 4/5 hours on a very low heat .It will melt in your mouth and makes a great curry .
