How Do I Bring Leftovers To School ?
So here's my dilemma, I have school from 6.30 to 4.30 everyday and I have a 20 minute lunch break in between morning and afternoon sessions.
This time is way too short because during lunch only 1 counter is open in the cafeteria and its impossible to get food within 20 minutes unless you were in line extremely early, or your cut lines.
To prevent needing to do this I've been bringing buns for lunch but at this point, I'm sick of eating them. I'm eating 8-10 of the same exact bun a week and today I nearly threw up so I decided it was time for a change.
I want to bring my previous night's leftovers for lunch but Im not sure how to keep it safe for eating.
For example maybe I boil some broccoli the night before, then I store them in a Tupperware.
My lunch break is at 1.50 so that's about 7 hours of it sitting inside a Tupperware from home.
Do I have to heat the food up again in the morning or do I just bring the food cold from the fridge?
Also any types of food that are an extreme no-no for storing overnight that I should avoid bringing to school?
