Money has the tendency to change people for the worse.

How does one go against the flow?
Too little and it hurts.
Too much and it still is never enough.
But have more than others and suddenly, there is distrust and gap with those who have less.
See someone with more and suddenly people treat them like kings and queens.

They say money makes the world go round.
Others call money the root of all evil.
But I think evil exists even before money did.

But now that it's part of our every day lives, how do we live in the right?

To be fair, the Bible never says that money is the root of all evil. It’s the ‘love’ of money. That’s a different thing. Money itself is just a material symbol used to regulate the exchange of goods and services. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Barter seems like a better idea until you need something, but nobody wants/needs the specific items or services you personally have to offer. Economic inflation is a problem for sure though.

I really don’t think that the average person even has the option to become hyper focused on ‘real wealth’. A lot of people are in debt though, that’s for sure.

I think.. if anything what would help is if as a society, or at least in the States, we reoriented to consider Life planning and financial decisions that minimize stress. Chronic stress is what turns the average person into a miserable, problematic jerk.
