Americans are so obsessed with the idea of wealth and money, they think money can solve everything.

Family is falling apart, Americans think it's because they don't have enough money. Number one cause of divorce, lack of money. Americans work long hours, neglecting their health and then complain about not having enough money to cover medical bills. Americans teenagers are unruly, and parents think they can solve this issue by spending more time at work making more money. Most parents don't even know their teenagers. They're complete strangers. Idk what happened to this country over the last 30 or so years but I swear most Americans do not value things like family time anymore. They rather work long hours than spend time with family. And the more they work, the more cost goes up. The standard of living isn't getting any better for most Americans. Government keeps printing money and this country is falling apart. It's not even worth living in America anymore.

When ur right ur right

That’s the idealism that society has bestowed onto the people because it forces people to have a consumerism attitude
@DeluxedEdition And it's not right babe. There should be a balance between spending time with loved ones and work. Right now, work consumes people's lives and there's very little time for family. Very little time for love. If we had to live this way, it'll be a different story but we don't.

Well you have to work to be able to make enough money to put food on the table, and the problem is that it’s harder to do that now than any time since the Great Depression. Why is it harder now? It’s not because Americans are mostly lazy, productivity has been steadily rising. Problem is wages haven’t gone up to keep up with the cost of living. Basically, thanks to plenty of tax cuts for the rich, the employers are taking a steadily rising share of the fruits of their employees’ work.

And the really sad part is, once you’ve got enough money for your basic needs, to take a real vacation or two each year, and a little extra to protect against unforeseen catastrophes, after that money gives diminishing returns. So all that extra money the rich are making is doing basically nothing to make them any happier, but it sure could do their workers a hell of a lot of good.
It went up by $4 an hour. But all it did was cause prices to go up on everything. @Theyitis

@Spoiledbrat Bullshit, that’s not how it works. Seems like you’re talking out of both sides of your mouth: we raised the minimum wage so the problem is not that the poor are struggling to make ends meet, but then raising the minimum wage didn’t really do anything anyway. What is the minimum wage in your state now? It needs to be at least $15/hour. And don’t get me wrong, raising the minimum wage is a step in the right direction, but it’s not a silver bullet. It’s not, “okay, we raised the minimum wage a measly $4/hour, everyone should be able to make ends meet without working themselves to death now, no more complaining.”
@Spoiledbrat You're right. In a capitalist system, there's no way to get ahead for some people because prices are set at the equilibrium.

The main reason inflation is happening is because our government continues to print more and more money to pay for social programs, foreign aid spending and wars.

It's everywhere, mate. Be it a developed, developing or under-developed country, majority only wants 💵💵💵💵(referring to money). We humans have created such a beautiful world that answer or the way to fulfill any expectation is money.😇

Folks like you and me, who thank God for what they have, even we come across certain challenges where we feel the need for more but all we do is pray to Almighty and seek a path to help ourselves. A path that doesn't shatter our moral values.🙏😇

Enough of Saint talk. Yo! DJ hit it:
