Is it possible to save up enough money to not have to work anymore?

Right now I'm bringing home in the ball park of $5000 a month. My car is paid off and I have less than $30,000 in debt. I live by myself and don't intend to have kids or anything. How can I invest my money and grow more of it instead of just stockpiling it in one bank account?
