I am curious

I been watching those videos of people that been getting hit by that hurricane and huge waves. I am curious would the insurance company's cover them for the damages. I think certain companies won't cover the damage if u live in a high risk area like right next to the ocean where it will happen again and again

yes insurance companies are beginning to refuse insure homes intentionally built in dangerous unstable places FINALLY. it is a foolish thing to build anything on sand or edge of a cliff

Insurance companies like to have "exclusions"

For example - they would pay for water damage if your house had a tree fall into it and rain got in.

But not "rising waters" - floods - unless you have flood insurance.

They can also have higher deductibles for hurricanes (since they know there's going to be a lot of damage from those storms)
