Had no choice but to walk out

So I developed sciatica a few weeks ago and it's been excruciating. My doctor referred me to a physical therapist and my appointment was today. I was in a lot of pain when I walked in, and I went up to the desk and the receptionist looked at my insurance information and condensatingly informed me that since I had not met my almost $4,000 deductible, I would have to pay them a minimum of the $600, even though my insurance didn't require a copay. She said the minimum amount I had to pay today was $100. I didn't have that kind of money, so I had no choice but to walk out. So yeah, still in pain. Hopefully the YouTube videos and tennis balls will help. I literally can't wait till I turn 67 so I can get Medicare! I hate having to suffer because I can't afford to go to the doctor.

If you don't have a copay then you'll likely have to pay to deductible. Check with your insurance to make sure. You can probably do some self directed stretching to loosen the muscles causing your pain.
